The Owners
When owners Edgar and Maria Ayala’s moved to Red Lion, PA from their home country of Peru their dream was to own a Peruvian and Mexican restaurant. They wanted to share these delicious cuisines with their local community. Their goal was to honor the customer by providing the freshest, most delicious, and authentic meal experience possible.


Peruvian Specialties
That dream became a reality on June 17th, 2019 with the help of close family members. They choose the name “Rocoto” because it is the name of a popular chili pepper used in many Peruvian dishes. Rocoto Restaurant offers some of Peru's most classic and favorite dishes including fresh baked empanadas and pollo a la brasa. They encourage patrons to try them all!

Rocoto takes pride in offering a selection of Mexican cuisine; such as tacos, burritos, and fajitas. Our passion ensures you have a marvelous experience every time you stop in. We hope to see you soon!
